Ayodhya: A review meeting of the District Health Committee was held at the Collectorate Auditorium in Ayodhya under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi to assess the progress of various healthcare schemes and medical services being implemented across the district.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate conducted a detailed review of government health programmes, medical infrastructure, and public healthcare services operating in the district. Officials discussed the status of treatment facilities, availability of medicines, sanitation standards, and the overall functioning of hospitals and health centres.
DM Shashank Tripathi directed officials to ensure better medical treatment, cleanliness, and uninterrupted availability of essential medicines at all government hospitals and healthcare facilities. He stressed the importance of improving the quality of healthcare services and ensuring that patients do not face inconvenience while availing treatment.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of key public health initiatives, including maternal and child healthcare programmes, vaccination drives, the Ayushman Bharat scheme, and the communicable disease control campaign.

Health department officials were instructed to ensure that the benefits of all government health schemes reach eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner. The District Magistrate also emphasized the need to maintain regular attendance of doctors and healthcare staff at hospitals and health centres.
He warned that negligence in healthcare services would not be tolerated and directed officials to maintain accountability and efficiency in service delivery.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Medical Officer, senior health department officials, and representatives from related departments.
